There are many kinds of renewable or green energy sources such as solar power (including photovoltaics), wind power, water power, biofuel, biomass, biogass, and geothermal.

We can use different kinds of renewable energy in the future. We probably won’t use only one renewable energy solution.. And too this would result in a reliance on a technology that might cause us to overlook other viable alternatives. Energy research is an ongoing process that may result in even better sources.

Power generating plants aren’t the only part of our energy system. We must not forget that cars and trucks also use significant amounts of fuel moving people and goods around.

In order to incorporate the new forms of energy and fuel that result from transportation research, we must also develop new systems for delivery and storage.

Lots of people are generating their own power to save the environment. This decentralized production of power and energy has resulted in people adding photovoltaic units to generate their own electricity and sell any excess back to the local power company. Water can be heated with solar power. Homeowners will now find smaller more economically priced windmills to generate electricity. You can put together one or more of these systems and reduce your power costs. Self-installed solar and wind power systems are within the means of homeowners now.

Crude oil is presently the biggest industry in the earth, there are so many people chasing after oil, but one day it will run out and there is no doubt about this, so what will replace it you may ask? Personally I believe that it will be solar powered energy, so lets take a brief look at a few things that will be changed by solar powered energy.

Vehicles

In this current day and age carss are probably the largest polluting piece of equipment to ever hit the earth, there are literally millions of motors around the globe. But in the future we could well see cars power themselves by storing solar energy and to be honest we are almost nearly there, I mean look at the cars at the moment they are all becoming hybrid and full electric.

Commercial Transport

Once again we are already seeing this come about with the new electric vehicles in Heathrow Airport, so what is there to say that Aeroplanes, trains and so much more could not become solar powered in the near future. I mean that would also make these types of transport a lot safer.

Homes

At the present moment everything in our homes are powered by electric, crude oil and gas. In person I think that homes also anguish the environment a great deal. But does it really need to be like this? Why not alternatively set up energy captures on the roof of every household which then stores this solar energy into the source which can then be used to superpower the home. It should likewise have a measure so that you know when to cut down on use if you are using too often. Solar powered energy could be the future.
