Christmas day is going to be here faster than of all time. It does seem as though the 2009 year has literally flown by, the entire UK summer period is now well and truly over as we head into the colder months. But what type of weather can we really expect this upcoming Christmas and what do the majority of people want? Let us take a look

Cold Weather

Well you genuinely cannot expect to have a Christmas day without the temperature being in the minuses. I mean Christmas day would not be Christmas without the cold weather; people love to snug up under the Christmas lights and watch Television have some beer and some nice Christmas day dinner

Snow

We are always hopeful for a white Christmas but it never seems to happen. What usually happens is that snow hits in the late part of January. It would be superb to have a white Christmas, where people would flock to the streets. One of the last white Christmas days we had was almost five years ago.

Sun

We all know that global warming is getting worse and worse as the years go by. The summer this year has not been very good, we ony really had a few days of sunshine, but maybe it is waiting to come out on Christmas day. If it dId I would anticipate that a vast quantity of people would be frustrated as nobody wants to see sunshine in the middle of December.

Whatever the weather condition I am certain many people will truly enjoy their Christmas day, because as long as you are around close family and friends thats all that genuinely matters on this exceptional day.

For the ultimate Christmas holidays and best Family Holidays and Dancing Holidays that you will cherish and enjoy for a entire life time.

At this time of year, France normally see’s a large rise in tourists as more holidaymakers take advantage of the summer sun. With some amazing beaches, cheaper cost of living, and much better weather, France is one of the most popular places for UK holidaymakers looking for a short getaway.

However, as this year comes around, rather than being packed full of ice cream munching Brits. The beaches are full with rotten egg smelling algae that is potentially deadly. Tonnes and tonnes of the algae has been washed onto the beaches spreading across miles of the French coastline. Normally the algae is within the sea and is not lethal at all, however, when it begins to rot, it can gives out toxic fumes which can be deadly.

Since the algae began washing up, a man has been taken seriously ill after inhaling some of the algae fumes. The 27 year old vet was riding his horse when the horse collapsed and died within minutes after inhaling the fumes, the man then had to be dragged out of metre deep algae.

Many of the councils affected by the algae are spending thousands on cleaning the beaches. However, with over 70 reported beaches being affected this year, making it the worst year so far, it’s a very difficult job to keep going. No doubt this news will have a big effect on French tourism as many tourists are being warned away from the dangerous beaches.

Day trippers won’t be the only people affected by the smelly beaches. People who own holiday homes out there may decide against visiting this year if they can’t visit the beaches. It won’t just be the French tourism that will lose money, the holiday home owners will also because they still end up paying for their house insurance in France despite not actually visiting the house this year.

Insurance for holiday homes is quite expensive so if you don’t end up using the house within the year, it does feel like a waste of money. Obviously, some people will choose to still visit so that they don’t end up wasting money on things like insurance for second homes.

Many environmentalists blame pollution from farming that caused the algae to wash up on shore. They argue that the waste pollution from the intensive farms gets into the water and that’s what causes the algae to get washed up and start rotting. We’ll just have to wait and see what affect this will have on French tourism.

Animals have been dying out all over the world for many different reasons. However what is the main key between lots of these creatures becoming extinct. To be honest we are the problem!

An endangered species is a term used to describe a species whose numbers have become so low it is at risk of becoming extinct. We cannot stop evolutionary change, so of course some animals will change and become extinct. However we are to blame for a lot of things. The Safari was just used as a hunting expedition, it was designed for those that had a lot of money and high stature. The animals were hunted down and killed, because of this there are few of them left in the world.

We do not hunt all that many animals now as we did say a hundred years ago (mainly because they are all gone). But you cant hunt any of these animals any more, because they are protected by law. Now instead of hunting them and killing them we are trying to save them. Safari is the best way to get people on side, or to teach them about some of the problems in the world. Diving holidays have become very popular in the eyes of many governments to try and the marine life before it gets to even worse stages.

Pollution is proving to be another major problem; we may not be shooting these animals anymore. And although we are not hurting these animals directly, our actions with burning fuels, are causing climate change to affect them. We need to start showing people what they can do to help save the planet, yet enjoy themselves at the same time. Kenya safari holidays are a great way to have fun and see the world.

All of the animals that are endangered are going these ways for different reasons. However what is the main key between lots of these creatures becoming extinct. If you really think about it, you will understand that we are the main cause!

An endangered species is a term used to describe a species whose numbers have become so low it is at risk of becoming extinct. We cannot stop evolutionary change, so of course some animals will change and become extinct. We are the cause of a lot of these problems. Safaris were originally designed to be Campaigns were people with a bit of cash could go and hunt some bug animals. All the animals that have been hunted an killed and now at the brink of extinction.

We do not hunt all that many animals now as we did say a hundred years ago (mainly because they are all gone). All of the endangered species like the Tiger, Lion and Rhino are all protected.

We are however slowly damaging there health and changing their surrounding climates. Some people don’t even know that a safari is more than just a holiday, its a massive experience. Kenya safari holidays are a great way to have fun and see the world.

Since the world started to realise the damage being done to the planet, this question has been around. The coral reefs will all soon be gone, but why are they dissappearing? There are some reasons that everybody knows as to why the coral reefs are dying and some that arent so obvious.

Interestingly the Caribbean contains just over 20% of the worlds coral reef and there is a huge amount of damage being done to it. Honduras is a place where they grow several different plantains including bananas, these require a lot of fertilizer. The fertilizer has nutrients that prevent coral growth and are deadly to fish. Fertilizer and erosion are the two biggest culprits for damage to the coral reef in this area and they are both caused by farming, tree felling and building of new properties. The fish in the ocean are key to the survival of the coral reefs, although a lot of people dont really know this. The fish act like the corals personal grooming kit, they remove bacteria from the coral keeping it clean and healthy, they also eat the surrounding seaweed making sure oxygen levels stay up in the sea.

Apparently fish have dropped in population rates by around 70-95%, a massive fall. Fishing too much isn’t just detremental to our food supply; it is decreasing the corals chance to survive.

Another problem is an obvious one, Global Warming. This is the Biggy, global warming rises acid levels in the sea and reduces the levels of Aragonite in the ocean. This is a carbonate mineral that coral requires to stay alive and even begin growth. In 40 years the acid levels in the sea will reach such high levels, the coral wont be able to survive the conditions.

However there are few things that we can do to try and help. There are some proactive schemes around that allow us to get are hands dirty and have a good time. If you do go on luxury holidays or Caribbean holidays you could have the option to go and volunteer for a coral clean up operation, where you can help clean coral underwater or on the shore. You can do your part to save the coral reef and you can enjoy yourself as well.

Also if you go fishing around coral, try not to drop anchor, you will tear the coral apart and damage anything living around it

So if your thinking about going abroad or maybe somewhere tropical, maybe some of you want to have weddings abroad, it might be a good idea to get there as soon as you can. And if you want to help you could take part with some professional divers for an afternoon and clean the coral, it wont be long before its all gone.

In Honduras where pineapple, banana and sugar cane plantains are so wide spread, fertilizer is being used in heavy amounts. The fertilizer has nutrients that prevent coral growth and are deadly to fish. The farms in this area leak pesticides and fertilizer into the ocean, this damages the coral reef sometimes beyond repair. The fish in the ocean are key to the survival of the coral reefs, although a lot of people dont really know this. Fish provide coral with the necessary grooming that it needs, this takes off bacteria that damage the coral and keep it clean, they also eat seaweed, and seaweed suffocates coral and any other plants around it by drawing in all the oxygen.

Apparently fish have dropped in population rates by around 70-95%, a massive fall. When we remove fish from the sea in massive amounts, we are removing a vital part of the corals survival.

Another problem is an obvious one, Global Warming. This is the deadliest one though, global warming helped along the way by everyone and depletes the amount or Aragonite in the ocean. This is a carbonate mineral that coral requires to stay alive and even begin growth. According to some people the acid levels in the sea will be so high in about 40 years, coral will stop growing.

However there are few things that we can do to try and help. There are ventures to help the coral that we can take part in and have a good time while we do it. If you do go on luxury holidays or Caribbean holidays you could have the option to go and volunteer for a coral clean up operation, where you can help clean coral underwater or on the shore. This would have to be some of the best volunteer work you could, diving with the fish and doing your bit.

Also if you go fishing around coral, try not to drop anchor, you will tear the coral apart and damage anything living around it

So if your thinking about going abroad or maybe somewhere tropical, maybe some of you want to have weddings abroad, it might be a good idea to get there as soon as you can. If you want you could chip in with the divers and help the coral survive, you never know how much longer it will be around.

How long will we have all the coral reefs over the world and whats causing them to vanish? We dont always know all the reasons for why things happen but we do know some of them, and some we need to address.

Fertilizer and erosion are the two biggest culprits for damage to the coral reef in this area and they are both caused by farming, tree felling and building of new properties. Something that doesn’t really occur to us is just how important fish are to the coral reefs. Fish provide coral with the necessary grooming that it needs, this takes off bacteria that damage the coral and keep it clean, they also eat seaweed, and seaweed suffocates coral and any other plants around it by drawing in all the oxygen.

Another problem is an obvious one, Global Warming. This is the big one, rises in global warming have created acids in the sea and reduced the amount of Aragonite.

All of the animals that are endangered are going these ways for different reasons. But what do we think the main key is between these animals going extinct. To be honest we are the problem!

An endangered species is a term used to describe a species whose numbers have become so low it is at risk of becoming extinct. There are things that we are not responsible for like evolution, species going extinct because they cannot keep up with evolutionary change are not our fault.

However we have changed now, and we are trying to keep them alive, but we are still causing problems. Safari is the best way to get people on side, or to teach them about some of the problems in the world. Diving holidays have become very popular in the eyes of many governments to try and the marine life before it gets to even worse stages.

Pollution is proving to be another major problem; we may not be shooting these animals anymore. However our actions in the rest of the world are causing damage to the entire environnement. We need to start showing people what they can do to help save the planet, yet enjoy themselves at the same time. Kenya safari holidays are a great way to have fun and see the world.

Cruise ships are truly massive. These ships can hold many tourists and have a wide array of staff. There isn’t enough room aboard the Cruise ship for them to hold it there, so at some point they need to get rid of it?

Well many of them do dispose of their waste when they get back to port, sensibly and cleanly. Many however have been dumping their waste in the sea. All of the waste being produced by these monsters are too much for them to hold, they now have to dump it in the ocean. This dumping is unacceptable if we want to keep the oceans in clean areas like the Caribbean clean. Around 2003 these ships were creating about thirty thousand gallons of sewage each day. There is not another new study to show the increase of this today.

However this isnt the main problem. The biggest issue is the air pollution that these cruise liners create. The engines that thee liners use are of massive proportion, they burn great amounts of diesel that releases harmful dioxides into the air. When a study was performed over ten years from 1991 to 2001 it showed that the British alone purchased 400 percent more cruises at the end of the 10 year period. There is not telling how many people will be going on cruises in the next ten years. St Lucia holidays have become very popular, the St Lucian government has even banned some cruise liners from entering its waters.

One thing is for sure though, either we find a new way to power these Cruise ships or we are going to have to forget about them altogether. If youre thinking of going on Barbados holidays or having weddings abroad, then think quickly before the Caribbean is just another victim of pollution. How long will it be before we cant visit the Caribbean just because it has been so badly damaged.

Cruise ships are truly massive. One of these Cruise liners can carry over 3000 tourists. They therefore carry and produce phenomenal amounts of waste and then what do they do with it?

Well many of them do dispose of their waste when they get back to port, sensibly and cleanly. It goes without saying that some of these cruise liners believe they can get away with dumping this waste in the ocean. They simply cannot contain all of the waste in the cruise ship and are forced to release it into the open water. This dumping is unacceptable if we want to keep the oceans in clean areas like the Caribbean clean. About five years ago they generated around 30,000 gallons of sewage per day. However today there isn’t a study out that shows us what the output of these ships is.

However this isnt the main problem. It is difficult to say what the worst problem is that these cruise liners produce, bu they create a massive amount or air pollution. The Engines that these beast like machines use, create immense amounts of pollution damaging everything around them. Over a 10 year period from 1991 to 2001 the amount of cruises bought just in the UK rose from 193,000 to 776,000. These numbers will continue to rise, there will be no telling how many people go on a cruise in twenty years time. St Lucia holidays have become very popular, the St Lucian government has even banned some cruise liners from entering its waters.
