Here in the UK we have not really had much of a summer this year, we have had a few days here and there but thats about it. We are now coming into the Autumn season which will pass by quickly and bring on the winter months. I get a vast amount of people asking me what the best time would be to reswitch their heaters on. Should You Really Turn Your Central Heating Off?

The United kingdom has low temperature winters, it would literally be unimaginable for people to survive without the relevant heating in place. But as soon as the spring months hit, people begin to switch off their central heating so that they can save themselves money.

But what I want the answer to is, is it actually worth switching the heaters off in the UK, because I really do not think it is. (more…)
