Over the years there has been a huge amount of speculation as to whether the popular patio heater damages the environment. Some people say that a patio heater is as bad for the environment as a 4×4 car, but is that true?

The United kingdom has low temperature winters, it would literally be unimaginable for people to survive without the relevant heating in place. But as soon as the spring months hit, people begin to switch off their central heating so that they can save themselves money.
But what I want the answer to is, is it actually worth switching the heaters off in the UK, because I really do not think it is. (more…)

Within the UK we have had a terrible winter coupled with the strain of the economic crisis. As summer approaches things may begin to look slightly better, or will they?

Living somewhere really remote would once have meant that you were separated from the rest of the world. Even now there are small communities in the UK that dont have mains electricity or gas, and have no choice but to use alternative power sources for everything. The thing with going on safari here is that you will be able to see the “Big Five”. The reason these animals got the name “The Big Five” was because hunters in the 1800’s believed them to be the hardest to catch and the most dangerous.
